Inconspicuously
Before the usual
She opens her eyes
The morning air is a little sweeter
The early sunlight glows
She doesn't know
The world starts to turn to a different beat
Familiar but not the same
There's a buzz in the silence as she lays in bed
And as she gets up with a smile
Her day to her seems the same
But everyone else can feel the change
She can't see it
She doesn't know what she's done
It's at the tip of her consciousness
But it's not time for her yet
She walks, talks, breathes, radiates
In time she'll come to realize
The world will see it in her eyes
In time she will finally see
